Numbers 33-34

....and the Lord tells Moses to record the stages of the wanderings in the Wilderness.....this means that the Lord wants it recorded so WE can learn from it...do you recognize any of the places?   If you have the time, go back and check some of them out and see what happened there.  See ifyou can answer the following:

Who died in Kadesh?
King Og attacked in Bashan.....what was he King of?
While the Isrealites were in the Desert of Paran, spies were sent out to check out the Promised Land.  What occured while the Isrealites were in the Desert of Paran that caused God to make the Isrealites to wander for 40 years?
King Balak was King of what land?
Where did the tribes of Rueben and Gad settle?

The Lord sets out the boundries for the Promised Land....this is the subject of much debate in the Middle East right now.   Do you think Ishmeal had anything to do with this?????  Remember who he was?

The Lord tells the Isrealites to get rid of every bit of idol worship and to drive the inhabitants out that practice it, or there will be trouble for the Isrealites.  You have to deal with sin...you can't compromise or it can sneak up on you.  Do you think we have idols we are dealing with today?   Do they sneak up on you or "knock you upside the head"?

  1. let's see if I have this:

I think Aaron died in kadesh....

King Og was king of Bashan...(I looked it up)..

When the spies came back, they gave false reports and talked bad about the inhabitants and the people were afraid....

Balak was king of Moab (looked that up also)....

Reuben and Gad settled east of Jordan...

I am not sure if I think Ishmeal had anything to do with the boundaries.....wouldn't that be something that God would do?
