ok...one of my stupid questions.....are all the books written by prophets?
ReplyDeleteGood question! Depends on what you mean by prophet. A prophet is not always someone who "predicts" or has a vision. God sent a lot of prophets in the Old Testament because everything was pointing to Jesus. The New Testament has disciples who follow God and preach and don't predict as much. Many are "eye witnesses" to preach about Jesus and the New Covenant. Paul writes letters to the New Testament churches. So, yes they are all prophets, but not all predict......does that make sense?
