These Psalms ar in Book 3 of the Psalms....they emphasize God's soverignty and God 's covenant with David...the ones today are by Asaph, who is found in 1 Chronicles 25:1.....David appoints him as a leader of one of the temple choirs.
Psalm 73 shows what a bummer it is when the wicked of the world seem to be getting money and blessing. It points out that the ones that follow God get the blessing in the end. We won't perish with God....God knows all about the wicked people...it may look like they are getting ahead, but they will end with this earth and all their security will go with them....
Psalm 77-78 are pretty cool because we have read all about how God delivered the Israelites from the Egyptians.....this is the Hebrew story of salvation and God commanded that the stories be told from generation to generation. We are supposed to be learning from their mistakes....are we?
