Esther overview

This book has the honor of being the only book of the Bible that does not have God's name in it.  Oh, it is in there all right, just not by name.   We will see the creation of the celebration Purim which Jews celebrate today.  God will orchestrate everything no matter what.  We are in the Medo Persian section of Daniel's statue....King Xerxes has TONS of land that he rules over.  He is Persia's 5th king.   This book is what allows the book of Nehemiah to happen.   Jews are still in captivity, but the ones here in Persia, chose to stay there.  It could be argued that they are forgetting their Jewish ways.   Again, Beth Moore does a fabulous study on this book of the Bible.
